  • Minnesota DOT releases video of school bus driver getting shot in head: report

According to the criminal complaint, the bus driver, a contractor for Minneapolis Public Schools, was trying to merge onto Interstate 35W near Chicago Avenue when the bus apparently scraped Lilly's black sedan.

Near the interstate split, Lilly stopped his vehicle in the lane of traffic and got out and walked towards the bus.

This is the horrifying moment a man opened fire on a school bus driver during a road rage clash on a snowy American highway.

The complaint says Lilly pulled out a pistol and fired at the bus windshield, wounding the driver in the left arm and grazing his head.

Police say that the alleged gunman, Kenneth W. Lilly, 31, was driving on the I-35 freeway at around 2:30 p.m. when his auto made contact with the school bus, which was chartered for Minneapolis Public Schools.

Video, released by the Minnesota Department of Transportation Wednesday, shows suspected gunman Kenneth Lilly pull over on the highway's shoulder, get out of his auto and walk toward the bus. A student who was sitting in the back of the bus at the time of the shooting was reunited with his family and did not suffer any injuries.

Flu shuts down United Kingdom racing until February 13
Cases of equine influenza had been reported in recent weeks, originally in France but spreading to Ireland and Britain. BHA procedures state that a racecourse can not race for at least four days following a deep clean having taken place.

Lilly was charged with attempted murder, CBS Minnesota reported.

The bus driver was rushed to a local hospital, but is expected to survive.

In traffic camera video, the bus appears to be moving as Lilly is walking around, but Chief Deputy Hennepin County Attorney David Brown said the shooting appears unprovoked. Police said they're still investigating what led to the shooting.

Shocked motorists flooded 911 with calls that a bus driver had been shot along a major Minneapolis freeway at rush hour Tuesday.

The complaint does not elaborate as to why Lilly might have feared for his safety. No attorney was listed for him in court records.
