  • US President Donald Trump poses with Kim Kardashian in the Oval Office

President Donald Trump meets with rapper Kanye West and former National Football League player Jim Brown in the Oval Office of the White House.

Kanye, who has broken ranks with much of the left-leaning entertainment industry to support Trump, recently took fire for wearing one of the red baseball caps handed out at the president's raucous "Make America Great Again" rallies.

West has been publicly supportive of Trump for several months, giving a similar speech to the audience after a performance on "Saturday Night Live" that was not aired.

"He has to be the freshest, the flyest, have the flyest plane..."

But he did not identify with her campaign slogan, "I'm With Her", because it "just didn't make me feel, as a guy that didn't get to see my dad all the time, like a guy that could play catch with his son", West said.

"You said, 'I guess you know I love you, '" West told Trump as the meeting began.

"Let's stop worrying about the future all we have is today", he continued. (CNBC)Mr. West, who has faced a backlash over his vocal support of the president, will meet first with Mr. Kushner and then have lunch with the president, the two people said.

'Worth Every Penny' to Be President Because 'I've Done a Great Job'
West added that black people complained about the "Again" word in Trump's campaign slogan, but stated that, " time is a myth". The President then reportedly said after Kanye's speech, "He can speak for me any time he wants. he's a smart cookie".

Over a lunch of caprese salad and roast chicken, Gidley said discussion would be centered on "President Trump's historic work to benefit all Americans".

He went on to say that "we are cheating on our country" by "making everything in China, not America". "You gave me the heart to go to adidas because at adidas, when I went in in 2015, we were a $14 billion company losing $2 billion a year".

Thursday's visit will mark Kanye's second sit-down with Trump - the Chicago, Illinois native previously showed his support for the leader by stopping by his Trump Tower offices in NY shortly after he was elected into office in November, 2016. It was something about when I put this hat on, I made me feel like Superman.

And not only did he greet Trump with a big, affectionate cuddle, he also dubbed himself a "crazy motherfucker".

West responded, "I like the North Korea". "He's a smart cookie". "I just channelled it", the musician said.

Previously, Kanye's reality TV star wife Kim Kardashian has visited the White House to press, successfully, for Trump to grant clemency to Alice Johnson, a woman who was sentenced to life in prison for nonviolent drug crimes.

The club shared an image of the typically straight faced Kanye West, with the caption: 'The worldwide break has got us like'.
