The rapper was originally invited to lunch with the president, former National Football League star Jim Brown and Jared Kushner to discuss prison reform, manufacturing, and gang violence.

Shortly after his Oval Office meeting with President Trump Thursday, Kanye West visited a Georgetown Apple store - where he hopped atop a table and delivered what he called an impromptu "keynote". "He has to be the freshest, the fliest, the fliest planes, the best factories and we have to make our core be empowered".

The White House has said they will talk about manufacturing, prison reform, preventing gang violence and reducing violence in Chicago, where West grew up.

Previously, Kanye's reality TV star wife Kim Kardashian has visited the White House to press, successfully, for Trump to grant clemency to Alice Johnson, a woman who was sentenced to life in prison for nonviolent drug crimes. Trump said he was open to other ideas.

Williams said the Oval Office should be "treated with respect", appearing to nod to the fact that West used an expletive while praising Trump. Music chief sat down in the White House Oval Office and said his MAGA hat feels like a Superman cape. "I just channeled it", West said.

West proceeded to pitch Trump on a hydrogen powered plane that he said should replace Air Force One.

Mr Trump said: "That's really nice".

After one of West's 10-minute sermon-style speeches, the president took over, complimenting the rapper for being a "smart cookie".

The rapper also spoke against stop-and-frisk policing policies, which Mr Trump recently expressed support for.

He said that his dream was to have both Trump and Colin Kaepernick wearing a "Make America Great" hat.

"I love Hillary, I love everyone, right".

"My issue with Kanye West is quite simple - it's that anti-intellectualism simply isn't cool", said commentator Bakari Sellers.

Kanye West has more than one member of the Trump family in his corner.

West also had a sartorial suggestion for Trump, proposing a hat that says just "Make America Great" - dropping the "again".
