  • Vikings fear for star who allegedly threatened hotel shooting

Griffen, 30, didn't practice Monday, and Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer said Tuesday he was ruled out of Thurday's game against the Rams.

"Our owners do an unbelievable job of giving these players all the resources that they need". "A lot of things go on with a lot of teams, and like I said all along, it's about how you handle it, and how you go out and prepare and play, and so I'll never use that as an excuse". "We're gonna do everything possible we can, not only for Everson, but to help everybody on the team".

The police report also said Griffen went to the home of cornerback Trae Waynes Saturday night. At a meeting at a nearby park, Tiffany Griffen told police that she'd been struggling with her husband's mental state, that he had been talking irrationally, leaving the house unexpectedly and may have made some suicidal remarks by text message earlier in September.

"I just hope for the best for him", Zimmer said.

The Minnesota Police Department said Griffen allegedly created a scene nearly every time he entered the hotel. Pico called Griffen paranoid and prone to repeating himself.

Griffen was reportedly kicked out of the Vikings' practice on Saturday, according to a report from the Minnetrista Police Department that was obtained by KSTP-TV.

China says can’t hold United States trade talks with 'knife to the throat'
The new US duties covers thousands of Chinese-made products, including electronics, food, tools and housewares. But he said the government is working to accommodate their needs and reduce their tax burdens.

Though his name was redacted from the Hotel Ivy incident report, sources told Cronin that the individual in question at the hotel is Griffen.

"He's obviously been a really really good (role) model for us, and obviously he's going through some tough times now", Zimmer said, while not commenting on the specifics of police reports chronicling Griffen's recent incidents. The man drove Griffen home, then directed police to his house because "Everson was acting insane and he was unsafe", according to a report filed Saturday by Minnetrista police officer Justin Thompson.

Soon after, Griffen got into a stranger's auto at a gas station near Highway 7 and Christimas Lake Road, police say. The driver freaked out and called Everson's wife. The driver later told police he "didn't feel safe at all and needed to get out of there", according to the report.

On Saturday, the report said, Griffen caused a disturbance at the Hotel Ivy in Minneapolis, entered a teammate's house briefly before running away, and jumped out of a moving ambulance taking him to a hospital "because he was in fear that someone was going to shoot him". Police told Griffen to get back in the ambulance and he did.

"Several of his employees have said he has not been himself for the past few weeks, was told that he needed to get a mental health evaluation as well based upon his demeanor". "Everson agreed to go to the hospital".
