Live Nation and Lotus Productions offered their support and 'wish Demi Lovato the best now and in the future and we hope to see her soon in South America'.

Latest reports say that Demi Lovato suffered a near-fatal overdose after she smoked Oxycodone laced with Fentanyl.

Getting treatment for her struggles with addiction is just one of a few steps Lovato has taken to get back on the wagon following her overdose on July 24. This is something that I must overcome, since I have not done so until now. She's also keeping her contact with the outside world to a minimum.

A source told E news that "She will be in rehab for several months and is doing an extensive program to ensure she gets the help she needs". "The family is trying to make sure they eliminate all distractions and want her to be focusing on her health right now". However, the batch "appeared to be laced with fentanyl".

Demi - who has battled with drugs and alcohol abuse in the past - had stayed away from substances for six years but she recently revealed that she had fallen off the wagon when she released her song "Sober" in June. She was then transported by first responders to the emergency room.

After Lovato's two week stint in the hospital he posted a statement on her Instagram saying she is going to focus on her sobriety.

Yahoo Entertainment reached out to Lovato's most recent publicist but she said she's no longer working with her. "She has become more open and is happy she is getting the help she needs, [as she now] grasps the severity of what happened and that she nearly died".

Additionally, Lovato seems to understand the severity of what happened and that she almost lost her life.
