Salah chooses to continually ignore them as they desperately chase his auto down the road.

It is a day since Mohamed Salah was referred to police by his employers, Liverpool Football Club, after being recorded using his phone while driving by a supporter.

The video shows Salah surrounded by fans who had spotted him, including young children, but he refuses to acknowledge them as he continues to look at the phone.

A spokesman for Liverpool FC told the BBC: "The club, after discussion with the player, have made Merseyside Police aware of the footage and the circumstances surrounding it's capture".

Liverpool also confirmed that the matter would be dealt with internally and that neither club nor player would be commenting on the matter.
