  • Omarosa Manigault Newman Says There Are Tapes of President Trump Using N-Word

"While speaking to the media at a "Bikers for Trump" rally in New Jersey, President Trump called former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman a "lowlife" on Saturday, just days before she releases her memoir about her time at the White House".

Manigault Newman, who got her big break as a contender on Trump's canceled TV show, The Apprentice, has, in the words of the NY magazine's Jonathan Chait "met a wall of skepticism bordering on reflexive disbelief".

Newman was once a vocal supporter of the president but has been fiercely critical of him in the months since she left the White House.

In "Unhinged: An Insider Account of the Trump White House", the former "Apprentice" star paints the president as a racist who casually dropped the N-word during tapings of the show.

President Donald Trump speaks as he meets with state leaders about prison reform, August 9, 2018, at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J.

Emergency declared ahead of Charlottesville anniversary
Charlottesville Police Chief RaShall Brackney said the goal for that community is to have a peaceful weekend. Controversy also surrounded the planned removal of a statue of Confederate Gen.

She previously stated in an interview on Friday with NPR that she has heard Trump on an Apprentice tape using the racial slur.

According to her, Trump suggested he was sworn in over the book instead of the Bible.

She has a new book, in which she has accusing him of displaying odd behaviors and using racially charged epithets. David Frum, senior editor at The Atlantic, tweeted after Manigault Newman's claim. While she doesn't provide direct evidence, she cites three unnamed sources who attest to the existence of the tape.

"Lowlife. She's a lowlife", Trump responded. The White House has already slammed it as "riddled with lies and false accusations".

She said: 'I was told exactly what Donald Trump said - yes, the N-word and others in a classic Trump-goes-nuclear rant - and when he's said them. Add Donald Trump as an interest to stay up to date on the latest Donald Trump news, video, and analysis from ABC News.
