While we're still in the dark to a specific release date, Nintendo has at least confirmed that the service is starting in the latter half of the month.

For as close as we are to Nintendo Switch Online's launch, there are still some crucial details that are unknown.

Nintendo provided an update for its upcoming Switch online service, and while we don't have an exact date yet we can expect to see it launch sometime in the second half of September. The list is fairly short at the moment, but one game that's probably going to drive a lot of subscriptions is Super Smash Bros Ultimate, which launches on December 7. 3, The Legend of Zelda, Dr. Mario and several others - 20 in total at launch.

He remains the world record holder at the 100m - with a time of 9.58 seconds - and the 200m, where he has clocked 19.19 seconds.

For anyone who enjoys playing certain Switch games online, a subscription will also be required for some games. "The service provides access to online play & Save Data Cloud backup in compatible games and a growing library of NES titles with added online play".

Nintendo Switch Online is cheaper than PlayStation Plus, and Xbox Live Gold. The plans start at $4 United States dollars a month and users can also purchase a three month subscription for $8, or the most discounted rate of $20 for a full year.
