It's only the first day of the Fix PUBG campaign and there's already a massive patch coming to the PC version of the battle royale game today. However, developer PUBG Corp is determined to fix the game and has revealed a roadmap for Fix PUBG.

PUBG has honestly taken its own sweet time to fix the stability issues in the game which gave much ground to Fortnite. Launching today, the objective of the Fix PUBG Campaign is to address problems with the game, which includes bug fixes, quality-of-life improvements, and performance issues. "So we think it's time to do something about it", read the update. Games like Dota 2, LoL, Counter-Strike GO and many more are intentionally not always on the cutting edge of visual fidelity to make them be enjoyed and played by as many players as possible. The developer says that they've been hearing a lot of complaints about the game recently and they're deciding to now levy their efforts to fix the problems that people are constantly complaining about.

The campaign is set to run for the next three months, during which the dev aims to eradicate bugs, "deliver long-needed quality-of-life features", and improve performance.

The developers have launched a full-fledged campaign revolving around fixing the game, releasing a Facebook post regarding the decision on their official Facebook page. With average fps now at 60 or higher, PUBG Corp. will be looking to reduce hitches. In addition, what changes to the game would you like to see from this? Quality-of-life improvements have also been added to those utilising the game's colourblind mode and loot stack splitting, while dampening vehicle sounds for the driver while in first-person perspective.

Assurance is given that the Xbox One version of PUBG will not be left behind. This problem is caused by wide differences in ping between the dueling players and poor server tick rate, and PUBG Corp is planning to work on both during the course of this campaign.
