  • Kovacic has been told he can leave Madrid this summer

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has dismissed any real chance of Luka Modric's departure by declaring that any buyer must pay his €750 million (£670m/$870m) release clause.

TMW says Inter and Modric's camp have settled on a three-year contract for the Croatia worldwide.

Lopetegui was asked if he had talked to Modric after his extraordinary World Cup, as the Croatian star led his country to the final where they ultimately fell to France.

Speaking while on duty with Croatia at the World Cup, Kovacic said he wanted to leave the Spanish capital in search of improved first-team opportunities.

Williams previously logged 321 days in orbit on two stays aboard the space station, most recently returning to the Earth in 2012. Since then, they have been in a race to see which company would fly first in what's become a sort of modern-day space race.

Madrid have already seen major changes occurring at the club this summer, with Cristiano Ronaldo leaving to begin a new challenge at Juventus and former Spain manager Lopetegui replacing Zinedine Zidane as coach.

According to El Mundo, the club's Chinese owners plan to inject them with funds through a sponsorship deal originating within their own companies, something that is forbidden and considered to be financial doping. Luka is a Madrid player and will continue to be, I have no doubt.

However, as El Mundo reported and has now been confirmed by MARCA, Real Madrid are extremely angry with the agents representing Modric, Vlado Lemic and Predrag Mijatovic. "We've been able to enjoy watching him play and we will continue to enjoy watching him".
