Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has dismissed any real chance of Luka Modric's departure by declaring that any buyer must pay his €750 million (£670m/$870m) release clause.

TMW says Inter and Modric's camp have settled on a three-year contract for the Croatia worldwide.

Lopetegui was asked if he had talked to Modric after his extraordinary World Cup, as the Croatian star led his country to the final where they ultimately fell to France.
