The Roma stopper has been linked with Liverpool, Chelsea and Real Madrid following an excellent season for the Champions League semi-finalists.

The agent of AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker is actively in talks this week with interested clubs.

"There are some possibilities and we are working on all of them, with respect to Roma".

Alisson has admitted he wants to sort his future before the World Cup, which gets underway on Thursday. We will see what will happen this week'.

GETTY Nabil Fekir to Liverpool fell through after an announcement from Lyon

Liverpool fans have already experienced disappointment during this summer's transfer window, following Nabil Fekir's failed move to Anfield, so the signing of Alisson would be a much needed morale boost for the club and its fans.

"Right now, I'm focused only on the World Cup".

1994 World Cup victor, now Alisson's global goalkeeping coach, Claudio Taffarel told Tele Radio Stereo: "Alisson is very happy at Roma and the rumours of a transfer are just rumours".

Alisson's performances this season have made him one of the most in-demand goalkeepers in Europe, something which will only increase further following the World Cup where he is expected to start for Brazil ahead of Manchester City's Ederson. "I'd say his greatest strength, other than his technical ability, is that he's very relaxed, very intelligent with the way he plays - he's mentally very strong", Taffarel told Italy's Radio Stereo. The voices about him moving are only rumours. The Mirror's David Maddock reports on Monday evening that Liverpool "will step up their efforts to land Shaqiri when he returns from the World Cup, after receiving initial encouragement".
