Toure won three Premier League titles, an FA Cup and two League Cups during an eight-year spell at the Etihad.

In a scathing and explosive interview with France Football last week, Toure said that Guardiola was cruel to him during their time together in Spain and that he began to wonder if his perceived mistreatment from his manager stemmed from a race issue.

"It's a lie and he knows it", Guardiola said.

"We were together two years and it is only now when he says it".

Numerous players have come out in support of Guardiola since Toure's comments and now the manager himself has finally responded.

Toure left City this summer after making just one Premier League start during the team's record-breaking charge to the title under Guardiola last term. (He had) 365 and 365 (days) to tell me (his feelings). "But the day he picks a team with five Africans in, I promise I will send him a cake!"

Verizon's new CEO, Hans Vestberg, will start in August
Vestberg has led a team building out Verizon's fibre network infrastructure and was overseeing the US build-out. And the telecom company has also fiercely pushed its FiOS broadband network and 4G LTE technology.

"At a time when English clubs are spending huge sums of money on players, I officially declare that Yaya is ready to move to any top-six English club as a free agent with a salary of £1 per week", he said.

"I$3 was at a fantastic age in which I was taking on the world and we took it on, with some incredible players, a young president (Laporta), Txiki".

"We had a generation of brutal players and the best player in the world [Lionel Messi] as well".

Guardiola initially refused to say anything when quizzed about the interview by Spanish reporters, but in an interview with TV3 has made his first comments on the allegations.

"I even asked coaches for my stats".
