A senior Israeli official said Wednesday there is "widespread agreement" among European leaders - German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Emmanuel Macron, and British Prime Minister Theresa May - that Iranian troops must be entirely removed from Syria, The Times of Israel reported.

Mr Netanyahu, who who held talks with Theresa May in Downing Street on Wednesday, said the threat of U.S. sanctions on companies which continue to trade with Iran had been decisive.

According to Netanyahu, Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad is "no longer immune" and his military is a viable target for Israel.

"The consequences are not merely to the Iranian forces there, but to the Assad regime as well", Netanyahu told his London audience, adding, "I think it's something that he should consider very seriously".

Even before that, Israel had been blamed for a series of recent strikes inside Syria that killed Iranians, though it has not acknowledged them.

Disaster agency spokesman David de Leon says officials are analyzing the terrain to make a decision. Eventually, the survivors will also need to find new homes.

And as he believes, a decisive role was played by the threat from the United States to impose sanctions on companies that continue to trade with Iran.

Mr. Netanyahu responded by saying he was ensuring Iran did not get a nuclear weapon and on "how to roll back Iran's aggression in the region".

"You have to choose an economy that is about 3-percent the size of the American economy or you forgo an economy with $21 trillion gdp, that's a no brainer and everybody is choosing it effectively as we speak", said Netanyahu.

Netanyahu said Iranian expansion had led to a "realignment" of relations with Arab states in the Middle East who also oppose Tehran - something Britain and western Europe were "evidently not understanding". Stop it. Here's what I think now.
