To everyone's surprise, she gets in.

"It's true. #LegallyBlonde3", she wrote next to a video of her in a pink bikini floating in a pool. Both comedies were critically and commercially successful, and now Reese Witherspoon will be coming back as Elle Woods for the third time.

Reese Witherspoon confirmed on Twitter that "Legally Blonde 3" is happening.

While no plot details have yet been revealed, the third installment is said to be "in the spirit" of the first film, which saw optimistic sorority girl Elle head to Harvard Law School to follow boyfriend Warner (Matthew Davis), only to discover her own power along the way.

Blizzard is working on a new Diablo project
As Blizzard is skipping E3 2018, as usual, we'll probably have to wait until BlizzCon 2018 for fresh news about the new game. That's about all we have to go on for now, as there aren't any further details about the title or a window for its release.

Rumors of the trequel began to swirl earlier this week when Deadline reported that the actress was getting the creative team from the first film back together. Witherspoon is now filming season two of HBO's hit drama series Big Little Lies and is in pre-production on her untitled TV project for Apple, starring alongside Jennifer Aniston in a series that is said to be a behind-the-scenes look at a morning TV show broadcast from NY. Original producer Marc Platt and his Platt Productions president Adam Siegel are producing, and they will be joined this time by Witherspoon, through her Hello Sunshine banner.

She continued, "I don't see women at the center of their own movies as much as I would like to".

There hasn't been a new Legally Blonde since 2003, so fans are super excited.
