Cavaliers owner deletes tweet about officiating during Game 3 of NBA Finals

  • LeBron James: Winner of NBA finals won’t be going to the White House

As the Golden State Warriors chase their third National Basketball Association championship in four years, the historic ramifications begin to take shape.

Kevin Durant scored 43 points, draining a long 3-pointer for emphasis in the final minute, and the Golden State Warriors beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 110-102 in Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday night to move within a victory of a sweep and their third title in four years.

If you were rooting for an NBA Finals upset, or you're a Cavaliers or LeBron James fan, Wednesday's Game 3 result took the wind out of your sails.

"That was wonderful what he did out there tonight", Warriors coach Steve Kerr said of Durant postgame.

"The way the league works, the way the [Collective Bargaining Agreement] works, it really kind of is up to the star player at key times to take a little haircut here and there", added Kerr.

This is the fourth consecutive year (since 2015) that these two teams are playing in the NBA Finals.

"It would have been a lot more satisfying if we won", Hood said. The Cavaliers never recovered, even though more than 44 minutes remained. But LeBron James - he of photographic memory fame - calmly explained the differences between the two shots. Miami followed the blueprint of the Celtics, who teamed Paul Pierce with Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett and Rajon Rondo.

Upon first listen, the normal person inside me says that this is James simply paying respect to the NBA's best by comparing them to the NFL's best. But at the same time I knew the game wasn't over. I'll wake up Friday morning, I'll be locked in on the game plan and what needs to be done to help our team win. Everybody knows how to put the ball in the hoop. He didn't think his shot was the biggest of the game.

Instagram might soon let you post videos up to an hour long
It also highlighted that talk about enabling long-form video comes two years after Instagram Stories launched on the platform. During a 2016 interview with BuzzFeed News , Zuckerberg indicates how "we're entering this new golden age of video".

"I just tried to stay in the zone", Durant said.

"They just think you go out, and, 'Oh, LeBron, you're bigger and faster and stronger than everybody, you should drive every single time and you should dunk every single play and you should never get exhausted, never.' Like it's a video game". Some of them are the first in their families to go to college.

Durant especially, a player likely to crack the mythical 30,000 points mark, has plenty to gain in all-time discussions should the Warriors win, so history has often been a topic of conversation for Durant.

So the Cavs are behind. Golden State lead the final series 3-0. The Warriors went 12 for 13 from the line. In the East, does Boston or Philadelphia make sense?

And his presence continues to be the difference-maker.

"But how I'd feel if we would get a meeting with LeBron James?". And he's still down 3-0.

"It's like playing the Patriots (or) San Antonio", James said.

"The room for error against a team like this is slim to none". "You can't have mistakes".
