  • Namibia cancelled; Harry and Meghan's NEW honeymoon is at 'luxury alpine resort' - report

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly on their honeymoon-and it's not where you'd expect.

A little more than a week after saying their vows, celebrity news agency TMZ reported that the newlyweds are headed for the Jasper Park Lodge.

Alberta is considered a Canadian Paradise which has a rich history of royal guests which includes King George VI and The Queen Mother, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip.

While most of us were glued to the television screen watching the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Sydney-based creative Alexandra Nea was busy getting to work.

This isn't the first time the resort, which is hidden in the middle of Jasper National Park, has had some royal visitors.

While the resort will reportedly be stocking up for Harry and Meghan, it is no stranger to big name clientele.

Virginia native Smeltzer worked as a photographer in the station's Spartanburg bureau and had just joined WYFF in February. The accident happened on Highway 176 in Polk County while they were covering the impact of heavy rain in that area.

Seems like the ideal getaway for the Royal couple.

Canada obviously holds a special place in Meghan's heart, as she lived in Toronto for years filming the TV show "Suits". Harry's own grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II herself, stayed there in 2005.

"Sometimes when we find out [celebrities] are visiting, they're already gone", he said. Early reports had the couple planning a getaway in Namibia-or, at the very least, somewhere in Africa-and those plans appear to have fallen through. "The ideal place to entertain family & friends or celebrate a special occasion".

The fact that the possibility of an Alberta sojourn has leaked probably means the Western province has been struck off the list of honeymoon-location options, she said.

Apart from Kate's dress literally breaking the internet, fans have eagerly been waiting for news of the Royal couple's honeymoon plans.
