  • RED's Hydrogen One will be available at AT&T and Verizon this summer

Separately, Red announced that AT&T and Verizon will be the exclusive carriers of the Hydrogen One at launch in the United States, with Claro and Telcel carrying the phone in Latin America.

The post AT&T to sell the Red Hydrogen One phone beginning this summer appeared first on Digital Trends.

AT&T calls the unreleased handset's 4-view holographic display "even better than 3D", while Verizon bills the groundbreaking technology as that thing "3D always wished it was, and without the glasses".

Unique to the Red Hydrogen One is its 5.7-inch holographic display, which will allow users to view images and capture video with new capabilities, making it a tool for video content creators, business social media personnel, enterprise marketing professionals and other business content creation workers who want to promote their brands in new ways.

25-year-old enrolled, played basketball at Dallas ISD's Hillcrest High School
In reality, Gilstrap-Portley graduated from suburban North Mesquite High School in 2011, an unidentified source told WFAA . He was taken into custody at the Dallas County Jail but has since been released after posting bail.

"We have never built a phone". In case you've been wondering, the Red Hydrogen One isn't just for 4D viewing. Partnering with the two biggest U.S. carriers to launch a phone is really ambitious and many have failed in the past.

At its Shape conference in Los Angeles, AT&T will be demonstrating the RED Hydrogen One on June 2 and 3. "No one ever tried to integrate a 4-view display in anything before", said RED founder Jim Jannard, as reported by BGR.

And while we don't know final pricing yet, we do know the phone won't come cheap.

The Hydrogen One's display grew from light-field display technology originally developed by Menlo Park, CA-based Leia, in which Red took an investment past year. Neither carrier listed a specific launch date, with AT&T saying only that the phone would be available "later this summer".
