  • [Updated] May Xbox Update now rolling out to everyone— here's what's new

It will presumably launch concurrent to the Xbox One version. I know that you've waited long enough. It's been in testing with Insiders since then, but today, the update is available for everyone, according to Microsoft's Brad Rossetti. This allows users to switch from one game to another easily.

No Man's Sky figurehead Sean Murray appeared on today's episode of Inside Xbox to reveal that the Xbox version will release on July 24. Initially, the update allows you to link your Discord account with your Xbox LIVE account, a process that you can perform from the application configuration panel, where you will now find an option to link both accounts, although it is also possible that you make the procedure from your console. With these updates in place, Xbox has taken user feedback into account with improved ease of access and quality of life. To link the accounts, you'll have to boot up the Discord app on PC or on mobile.

Thanks to this update, you can now trim clips directly from the Guide.

Finally, a number of setting options have been introduced for additional ease-of-use, including a "Details" page to let parents better monitor which family settings they have turned on and more functionality for the "View" button in the main dashboard.

The game now does have a limited form of multiplayer, but with the update, players will be able to interact with other players better, such as grouping up with them to survive, build, race, and relax.

Final of the new features in this update are enhancements to the Xbox Accessories app, Family Settings, and new intuitive button commands.
