North Korean leader Kim Jong Un announced the decommissioning of the Punggye-ri site during the summit with South Korean President Moon Jae-in in late April, saying that Pyongyang's pursuit for nuclear weapons was complete so the test site was no longer needed. The site has been used for each of North Korea's six underground nuclear test explosions. He did not specify what the military has seen. Additionally, according to experts, North Korea has also partially dismantled the rails of the trolleys, which lead from the tunnels.

"Commercial satellite imagery from May 7 provided the first definitive evidence that dismantlement of the test site was already well underway", the website wrote.

North Korea has reportedly begun to dismantle a key nuclear test site just weeks before ruler Kim Jong-un is due to meet President Donald Trump for a historic summit.

"The Nuclear Weapon Institute and other concerned institutions are taking technical measures for dismantling the northern nuclear test ground.in order to ensure transparency of discontinuance of the nuclear test", North Korean press agency KCNA said earlier this week. Her comment came shortly after South Korea's Yonhap News Agency reported that the North was threatening to cancel the summit because of ongoing military exercises between the US and South Korea.

Moyes and Allardyce out at West Ham, Everton
Moyes' last game in charge was a 3-1 win over Everton on Sunday, after which he suggested his preference was to stay at the club. The Hammers have opted not to renew the Scottish coach's short-term contract, which expired at the end of the season.

They will then go by train to the nuclear site, then return on May 26 or May 27, the South Korean ministry said in a statement, citing a North Korean notice.

The two Koreas were set to hold a meeting Wednesday at a border village to discuss setting up military and Red Cross talks to reduce border tension and restart reunions between families separated by the Korean War.

Trump is expected to push North Korea to give up its nuclear weapons at the meeting in exchange for the removal of economic sanctions and United States assistance in rebuilding Pyongyang's ailing economy. Pyongyang for decades has been pushing a concept of "denuclearization" that bears no resemblance to the American definition, vowing to pursue nuclear development unless Washington removes its 28,500 troops from South Korea and the nuclear umbrella defending South Korea and Japan.
