  • Stardew Valley PS Vita release date confirmed

Mega-hit indie farming adventure Stardew Valley will finally head on down to PS Vita town next week.

It's been a long, odd life for the PlayStation Vita, a system that launched here in 2012 with the slogan "console gaming on the go" but quickly lost ground to mobile and tablet gaming, along with the surge of Nintendo's 3DS. It delivered on that promise initially, giving us many good diminutive versions of the company's best games.

The Sony PS Vita handheld console is a bit long in the tooth now and with no public plans to launch a successor, it seems like the console is a few steps shy from being discontinued completely.

Judge rejects Manafort motion to dismiss Russian Federation probe charges
This is notable because the Trump Administration, including Donald Trump , used Eastern District of Virginia (EDVA) Judge T.S. Manafort had argued that Mueller had exceeded his authority because the case was unrelated to Russian election interference.

The PS Vita version of Stardew Valley doesn't include any special upgrades or features, so don't expect there to be multiplayer or anything like that. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the PlayStation Vita. A series of missteps with the handheld console made it largely inaccessible and expensive, even if it was ahead of its time (a look back on the Vita is grounds for a whole article of its own).

The production for the Vita GameCard will be close by the end of the fiscal year 2018 for Sony which comes up to March next year. However note that this only applies to the physical copies of games, and not the Vita system in general.

The game is now available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Will they drop the price?
