The $7.4-billion project would almost triple the flow of diluted bitumen and other products between Edmonton and Burnaby.

"It is important that Canadians understand what's at stake when we talk about the Trans Mountain Pipeline expansion", said Premier Rachel Notley in a release.

Trans Mountain Pipeline means more money for roads, schools and hospitals is one of the messages of the campaign.

"Right now we are winning hearts and minds in B.C., just look at the polling our efforts are working", Notley said in a news conference Thursday.

Speaking for Ottawa, Notley said the government is in "very serious and determined" discussions with Kinder Morgan, although she wouldn't reveal and details on the discussions. Alberta is not done, yet Notley also announced Alberta planned to fully participate in the court reference case, announced last month by B.C. Premier John Horgan.

Walmart buys controlling stake in India's Flipkart
Flipkarts sales grew more than 50 per cent in the fiscal year ended March 31, 2018, to Dollars 4.6 billion, Walmart said. In March, Meena forecasted that India's online retail market remained the fastest-growing market in the world.

While Mr. Notley views the expansion project as a litmus test on the ability of the country to build any multibillion energy project, other political leaders view it as a touchstone on the state of Canadian environmental stewardship.

Robertson told Bloomberg that he doesn't think the project would go ahead due to resistance from protestors which he thinks will escalate, adding the bigger issue is to get off fossil fuels.

Along with the billboards, Notley will be writing an op-ed in BC media, in response to critical comments made by Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robertson.

The proposed law would give Alberta the power to restrict and redirect flows of oil, gasoline and natural gas to maximize profits. The company has threatened to pull out of the project by then if B.C., Alberta and Ottawa can not come to an agreement.

She was also asked whether her party would consider splitting from the federal NDP, given the difference in opinion on the project. The Federal Court of Appeal refused to do so - and they did so without providing any reasons. On Thursday, Ms. Notley confirmed that, like Saskatchewan, her province will seek status in the case.
